About Dr. Brenner

Jennifer W. Brenner, MD, grew up in Denver, but her years of extensive medical training have taken her all over the central United States. Today, she continues her passion for gastrointestinal health and liver diseases that affect women at Colorado Gastroenterology in Denver, Aurora, and Golden.      

After studying biology and anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis and graduating magna cum laude, Dr. Brenner received her medical degree from Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Brenner then moved to Texas, where she completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas’ MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Once board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Brenner headed back home to Colorado. After working in private practice in Colorado Springs, she moved to Denver and joined the Colorado Gastroenterology team.

Dr. Brenner is an active member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. She is fully trained in all aspects of gastrointestinal health and diseases of the liver, enabling her to treat patients of all ages effectively.

Dr. Brenner’s many talents are not limited to the doctor’s office; in her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano. She also loves spending time in Colorado’s beautiful outdoors with friends and family.
